ITF Training Courses for Information and Communication Technology Courses

Industrial Training Fund (ITF) was established in 1971 under Decree 47 of 1971 as Amended in the 2011 ITF ACT. As part of its responsibilities, the ITF provides Direct Training, Vocational and Apprentice Training, Research and Consultancy Service, Reimbursement of up to 50% Levy paid by employers of labour registered with it, and administers the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). It also provides human resource development information and training technology service to industry and commerce to enhance their manpower capacity and in-house training delivery effort.

As the main thrust of ITF programmes and services is to stimulate human performance, improve productivity, and induce value-added production in industry and commerce.

ITF Centre for Excellence (CFE)

The Centre for Excellence was established by the management of the Industrial Training Fund in 1992 to provide up-to-date training and development for staff and non-staff of the Fund to meet the ever-changing demands of group and individual work place and desk functions.

In it’s ten years of experience, the Centre has trained over three thousand (3,000) members of staff in various fields of endeavor.

The Centre has a new mandate to reach external clientele in the field of work. As an apex training institution, they design and deliver tailor-made programmes on request to meet clients’ identified training assessment.

The Centre is presently comprised of the following units:

Curriculum Development
Symptom Based -Study
Staff Development and
Vocational Skills Training

The Centre has a cream of well-seasoned professional staff and other external facilitators drawn from both the private and public sectors. The professional staff come from various backgrounds of engineering, social sciences, law, textile and other fields of Endeavour.

The Centre as a unit of the ITF has successfully participated in ITF/FEAP, ITF/Universities and ITF/NAPEP joint ventures in the past.
