The Petroleum Equalization fund Management Board is an agency of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, founded by Decree No.9 of 1975 as amended by Decree No. 32 of 1989 it main purpose is to give Uniform Prices on Petroleum products in the country.

Petroleum Equalization Fund is for reimbursement of petroleum companies on any losses in Nigeria.
