PRAISE PROVOKES SUPERNATURAL FAVOUR SCRIPTURES.

In this post we will be looking at Unlocking the supernatural through praise and 7 Keys to Supernatural Favor.

INTRODUCTION

We discover from scriptures that praise is a formidable tool in commanding the supernatural. Therefore, an understanding of its place in manifesting the supernatural will cause us to flow continuously in the miraculous. Looking at Jesus’ ministry, the two most profound miracles he did were as a result of thanksgiving. For instance, it was the mystery of thanksgiving that raised Lazarus to life after being dead for four days. Furthermore, thanksgiving also multiplied a little boy’s lunch to feed five thousand men, excluding women and children. That is an estimate of ten thousand people fed and with leftovers. In other words, at the instance of praise, miracle- working powers are provoked from heaven (Luke 11:40-44; John 6:6-11).

Unlocking the supernatural through praise

We must recognise that a vital aspect of praise is dancing. As it is written: Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation (Psalm 149:3-4). For instance, Herodias daughter danced so well to please Herod and secured the king’s favour. That earned her an open cheque to ask for anything, even to the half of his kingdom and it would be done. In the same vein, whenever we dance our way into God’s heart in praise, we provoke divine favour (Mark 6:22-23).  Also, David, ‘the praise giant’ danced before the lord with all his might such that he was mocked by Micah his wife and he walked in favour all the days of his life. Expect today that every misfortune around your life will be turned around into divine favour (2Samuel6:14; Psalm 30:5-7).

Again, we see in the Scripture, how David praised God seven times a day and God speaking of him, said: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him (Psalm 89:20-23; see also Psalm119:164).

God has seven different keys to Supernatural Favor they are as follows:

1. Praising God will give you favor: If you want to know how to move in God’s supernatural favor. . .you’ll find an amazing answer in Acts 2:47 which says: “Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

When you accept a difficult assignment, you move in His favor: If God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and He does… don’t you think He knows every situation and circumstance you will face on your journey through this earth? Luke 1:29-31 in the Amplified Bible says:

“But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.

“And the angel said to her, do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.

“And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.”

2. When you increase in wisdom-you increase in favor with God: Luke 2:52 says:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

3. His irresistible charm will flow through you to other people: Even in the midst of difficult circumstances. . .the supernatural favor of God will flow through you.

Genesis 39:21 says: “But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”

While most believers will never find themselves confined in a prison with guards and tungsten steel wire fences. . .they may feel incarcerated by their surroundings. . .feeling that freedom. . .financial and otherwise. . .is just an elusive dream. No matter what circumstances you’re facing. . .God can move you from the prison to the palace. . .as His irresistible charm flows through you to change hearts and attitudes toward you.

Acts 7:10 in the Amplified Bible says: “And delivered him from all his distressing afflictions and won him goodwill and favor and wisdom and understanding in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him governor over Egypt and all his house.”

4. When you accept a difficult assignment you move in His favor: If God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and He does… don’t you think He knows every situation and circumstance you will face on your journey through this earth?

Luke 1:29-31 in the Amplified Bible says: “But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.

“And the angel said to her, do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.

“And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.”

5. Never leave home without it: 1 Corinthians 16:23 in the Amplified Bible says:

“The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.”

From the time we awakened in the morning till we pillow our heads at night. . .our Heavenly Father wants us talking, walking, living and acting in His favor. . .wherever we go and in whatever we’re doing. . .as long as. . .we bring glory and honor to Him. Oftentimes we don’t walk in favour because we don’t ask for it or expect it. Psalm 139:5 in the Message Bible says: “You know when I leave and when I get back; I’m never out of your sight. You know everything I’m going to say before I start the first sentence.

“I look behind me and you’re there, then up ahead and you’re there, too—your reassuring presence, coming and going.  This is too much, too wonderful—I can’t take it all in!”

6. Even sinners recognize the favor of God on you: It’s important for each of to realize that even when the enemy tries to trip us up or traps for us, he loses and we ALWAYS win.

Take comfort in Proverbs 12:13 in the Amplified Bible which says: “The wicked is [dangerously] snared by the transgression of his lips, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall come out of trouble.”

Not only come out of trouble. . .but many times. . .the favour of God will keep us from ever falling into traps of the enemy. Psalm 91:3 in the Contemporary English Version says: “The Lord will keep you safe from secret traps and deadly diseases.”

7. Double favor can be yours: 2 Corinthians 1:15 in the Amplified Bible says:

“It was with assurance of this that I wanted and planned to visit you first [of all], so that you might have a double favor and token of grace (goodwill).”

The New Living Translation of 2 Corinthians 1:15 says: “Since I was so sure of your understanding and trust, I wanted to give you a double blessing by visiting you twice.”

Talk about favor. . .two visits by Paul would be an incredible experience.  The opportunity of being in his presence. . .experiencing the power flowing through him and the revelation pouring out of him. What would put a person in such a unique position?  Simply put, obeying what the word says whether it’s convenient or not.  Doing what God says we should be doing and how we should be doing it.
